On June 28, 2025, the vibrant city of Al-Karak witnessed a remarkable event that brought together families, children, and youth for a day filled with learning and having fun.
As Thinking Oasis, we were happy to take part in this meaningful initiative, contributing with our booth designed to inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.
The Creativity Club organized a range of engaging activities for all ages, from hands-on experiments in the Science Lab and creative art sessions to energetic Telematch games and meaningful family bonding activities. The event also featured a lively Sports Zone and a thoughtful session to help parents discover their child’s future. Visitors moved through each station with curiosity and excitement, enjoying a fun-filled journey of learning and connection.
Thinking Oasis Booth: Learn, Play, and Think Critically
At Thinking Oasis, we believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and driven by curiosity. That’s exactly what we brought to our booth in Al-Karak. Through interactive, challenge-based experiences, we created a space where participants of all ages could explore ideas, test solutions, and engage in hands-on problem-solving — all in a playful environment.
Here are some of the activities we offered at our booth:
1. Electronic Circuits Challenge: Can You Fix the Problem?
Participants faced an exciting hands-on challenge: an electrical circuit where the components weren’t working.
Could they figure out the issue and fix it?
This activity combined electricity basics with logical thinking, giving participants a real taste of troubleshooting in a fun and interactive manner, even if they don't have experience or knowledge in dealing with electrical concepts or wiring.
2. AI in Action: Lights Controlled by Your Fingers
Using a camera and a trained machine learning model, participants explored how AI can detect hand movements and control lights accordingly. When someone held up three fingers, three lights turned on — and so on.
This engaging project sparked conversations about how artificial intelligence works, what it means to train a model, and how machines “see” and “understand” input.
This activity was adapted from the real AI project-based training we offer at Thinking Oasis.
3. Original Thinking Puzzles: Can You Solve It?
Our custom-designed geometric puzzles were a hit with both kids and adults. They encouraged participants to think deeply, test different solutions, and enjoy the process of problem-solving.
Some visitors sat next to us for extended periods, fully immersed in solving the puzzles. This quiet, reflective activity created moments of true concentration and enjoyment — a perfect example of how thinking can be both challenging and fun.
We’re always happy to collaborate with the Creativity club in Karak. Their creative event curation ensured every visitor had the chance to explore, engage, and enjoy.
It was a family-friendly experience, and we were happy to be part of an event that promotes learning, exploration, and meaningful connections across generations.
