For the first time in Qatar, the Young Innovators Lab was launched at the Palestinian school in Doha. With over two decades of heritage in Jordan and Palestine, the program comes to Doha to equip learners with 21st century skills and create a community of innovators in a dedicated lab with world class equipment.

The lab is a 10-month program that develops the thinking and learning skills of participants through hands-on experimentation, discussion, exploration of science, tech, and AI. The playful environment not only shapes a positive perspective toward learning, but it also turns learners into compassionate innovators who can employ science and technology for the benefit of their communities.

The beating heart of the program is a dedicated innovation space, custom designed and equipped with tools for experimentation in science and electronics, as well as 3D printing, robotics, and AI. The space is embedded within the school’s campus to embed independent learning and innovation into the daily culture of learners.

In its first phase, the program will train a select group of students on scientific experimentation, Design thinking, and innovation using STEM and AI.

The program’s design and implementation this year are done in partnership between “Thinking Oasis” and “New Castle educational consultancy”, and funded by the Palestinian School’s management board.
